This is the original soundtrack from the 1986 anime series Dragon Ball, which was originally written by Toriyama Akira and has been broadcast since 1986. It is a remastered version of the original soundtrack released in 1986. This is the first time it has been released on CD.

The music was handled by Shunsuke Kikuchi, who has many outstanding works on superhero soundtracks. As it is an early soundtrack, it has a somewhat idyllic mood, but the heroic music used in the battle scenes is outstanding. The opening and ending songs are included in full length.
