Once again, Yuji Sakai, a leading expert in Godzilla sculpting, was in charge of the prototype and paintwork, and the latest addition to the “Yuji Sakai Extreme Sculpting Collection” is “Godzilla (1954) Appearance at the National Diet Building ver.”.
Sakai’s original Godzilla, which recreates the famous scene from the movie, when Godzilla appears at the National Diet Building, has been sculpted with such a high level of detail that it looks as if it has jumped out of the screen.
Sakai’s skillful paintwork is also beautifully reproduced in the original Godzilla’s body coloring, and the high level of perfection in both the sculpting and coloring makes this a truly definitive version of the original Godzilla.
